TASTING NOTES
A meaty, gamey nose yields to a gentle, mellow palate. Elegiac, deliquescent fruit; all autumnal introspection and melancholy. Lingering mellow perfume with enough attack on the finish to remind you that this wine is not drifting quietly into old age. A meditation wine.

TASTING NOTES
A piney, herbal nose, with chocolatey hints. Very fine grained, filigreed aromatically and so full of character. On the palate, beautifully fresh and chalky textured with an elegant concentration. Very harmonious and supple. Vinous, gentle and easy with sweet red fruits retronasally. Very delicious, light and supple, if not the biggest. Subtle complexity and classic Bertani.

TASTING NOTES
Complex, harmonious nose with a touch of cognac and cinnamon. So much warm spice and almonds on the palate! Rich, still tannic, but gorgeously balanced. I believe all the elements are here for real greatness. Rose petals. Supreme, cool, understatement; but make no mistake, this is a statement. Staggering depth of flavour and huge retronasal perfume as well as supple, joyful fruit all so piercingly delineated. One for the ages and one of the greats.
